OVERVIEW
THE ASSOCIATION OF NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING PRACTITIONERS was formed to develop a Nigerian indigenous Business Group that interfaces with Nigerian Oil and Gas Operators, International Organizations with similar goals, the Nigerian Government as well as national regulatory agencies like NCDMB, DPR, NNRA, etc to ensure professional and safe practice of Nondestructive testing in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria, thereby engendering growth of the technology of non-destructive testing services within the Nigerian Territory, acquiring and improving technological know-how of the practice to achieve industry best practice and aid local specialist human capacity development in this area of service in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
The overall aim of the Association is therefore the dual purpose of attainment of technological and human capacity development of local NDT Companies through industry best practices with the eventual purpose of achieving the Nigerian Content goals as enunciated in the NOGICD Act of 2010.
